Is Typography Acknowledged as Forms or Letters?
Location : Seoul, Korea / Instructor : Jeonghyun Kim
Korean Traditional Typography of the Past has been Transferred to the Present Day and has Come to Stand on the Border Between Drawings and Letters. Typography is Gradually Changing From the Art of Understanding / Reading to the Art of Seeing. Traditional Korean Architecture, Hanok, is also Regarded as a Symbol of the Past rather than a Bowl Containing the Values of the Past. This Project Utilizes the Formative Value of Letters and Hanoks to Achieve the Goal of Presenting the Landscape of the Future by Connecting the Disconnected Tradition and Modernity.
