Situated in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, "Migrating Books and Bodies" Reimagines the Future Role of Libraries in the Face of Gentrification and a Growing Immigrant Population. By Recategorizing, Redistributing, and Reprogramming Books Across 4th Avenue, the Project Establishes a Dual Network System: a Network of "Urban Living Rooms" in Underutilized Lots, and an Institutional Library, Where the Subtraction of Books Opens Up Flexible Communal Spaces, and . These Distributed Libraries Address the Diminishing Public Realm by Embedding Cultural, Practical, and Educational Programs into the Neighborhood.
